Bojemoi - это коллективное имя двух художников, Сергея Жданова из Киева и Насти Травкиной из Москвы. Борода Толстого — проект, посвящённый философской мысли Льва Толстого, появился в начале 2015 года. Толстой известен как великий писатель, а ведь он написал огромное количество философских и публицистических произведений. «Мы вдохновились его книгами и решили визуализировать его концепцию календаря с «мудростью на каждый день». Каждый день мы выбирали из его «Календаря» афоризм и создавали коллажные портрет и плакат. За два года мы сделали тысячу картинок, с помощью которых надеялись распространить идеи разумной жизни по Толстому среди пользователей сети. Теперь нам бы хотелось, чтобы Толстой вышел в оффлайн и чтобы каждый человек смог буквально стать носителем его идей».
Четыре принта для FREELABEL созданы как 4 столпа или 4 стихии толстовской философии. «Всё благо» — центральная мысль Толстого, дух его учения. Лозунг «Прощай» — основная идея толстовской этики любви к ближнему. Призыв «Больше думай» — воплощает толстовское требование самостоятельного мышления. «Всё исследуй» означает непредвзятое отношение исследователя ко всем проявлениям жизни. И «Четыре портрета для FREELABEL созданы как 4 юмористических образа Толстого с использованием одного и того же узнаваемого профиля. Текст, сопровождающий каждого Толстого, - это слова писателя, выражающие его точку зрения на жизнь и смерть. Образы называются Черепа, Крутой, Мятежник и Зебра».
Bojemoi - it is the collective of two artists, Sergei Zhdanov from Kiev, and Nastya Travkina from Moscow. Tolstoy's Beard - a project dedicated to the philosophical thought of Leo Tolstoy, was originally created in early 2015. Tolstoy is known as a great fiction writer, and yet he wrote a huge number of philosophical and journalistic works. “We were inspired by his books and decided to visualise his concept of a calendar with his “everyday wisdom”. Every day we chose an aphorism from his "Calendar" and created a collage portrait and poster. Over the course of two years, we have made a thousand pictures, with the help of which, we hoped to spread the ideas of intelligent life according to Tolstoy among our networked users. Now we would like Tolstoy to go offline and so that every person can literally become a bearer of his ideas.”
Four prints for FREELABEL are created as the 4 pillars, or 4 elements, of Tolstoy's philosophy. “Everything is good” is the central thought of Tolstoy, the spirit of his teaching. The slogan "Farewell" is the main idea of Tolstoy's ethics of love for one's neighbour. The call "Think More" - embodies Tolstoy's requirement for independent thinking. “Explore everything” means an unbiased attitude of the researcher to all manifestations of life. And four portraits for FREELABEL are created as the 4 humorous dispositions, of Tolstoy, using the same recognisable profile. Text accompanying each Tolstoy are his words along, speaking to his perspective of life and death. The Images are named Skulls, Cool, Rebel and Zebra.
